Tens of Jewish settlers attacked villages of Burin and Iraq Burin, south of Nablus, on Saturday night and were confronted by villagers, local sources said.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Tens of Jewish settlers attacked villages of Burin and Iraq Burin, south of Nablus, on Saturday night and were confronted by villagers, local sources said.

Ghassan Daghlas, monitoring settlement activity north of the West Bank, said that settlers from Bracha settlement attacked citizens’ property in Burin and smashed the windows of houses, prompting citizens to confront them.

He said that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rushed to aid the settlers and fired live bullets, teargas, and stun grenades on the citizens inuring two of them who were rushed to a Nablus hospital after the IOF soldiers prevented entry of ambulances into the village.

Daghlas said that a similar attack took place in nearby Iraq Burin village with the help of IOF soldiers.
